Animatic of storyboard. Party Animal

The video above is our storyboard edited to fit our song. Storyboarding was quite a long process because we had to make sure each shot fitted in time with the music and also be sure that the shots were not to long or to short. The drawing of the storyboarding also took time because each drawing had to be clear and represent exactly what we wanted in each shot. Once we had finished the storyboarding process we then filmed them. The media department supplied us with camera's. With this camera we filmed each individual shot for 10 seconds each. When we had finished we took the footage up to the media editing suite and loaded it all onto 'Final Cut Pro'.  The editing process then began. This consisted of placing the music and the individual shots onto the time line. The final result is shown above.  The whole process needed alot of teamwork. Overall i feel we worked really well as a group. We balanced the work load well and assigned individual tasks to different people. By assigning individual tasks to other group members it meant our work all got done at a quicker pace and also to a better quality. I found the editing of the storyboards really hard and tricky to get to grips with, but sitting there and watching how 'Final Cut pro' works helped me to learn the basics ready for editing our actual music video.
